Darminfektion mit Clostridioides difficile

Definition:
Darminfektion verursacht durch das Bakterium Clostridioides difficile, meist nach Antibiotikabehandlung.
Häufigkeit:
Zunehmend durch häufige Anwendung von Breitbandantibiotika; einer der häufigsten Erreger von Nosokomialinfektionen.
Symptome:
Durchfall, selten blutig, Bauchschmerzen, Fieber.
Befunde:
Klinisch geschwächter Allgemeinzustand, evtl. Dehydrierung, bei schweren Verläufen pseudomembranöse Kolitis.
Diagnostik:
Toxinnachweis im Stuhl, Endoskopie.
Therapie:
Leichte Formen symptomatisch, sonst Antibiotikagabe, bei schweren Verläufen gelegentlich operative Maßnahmen.
