Urothelkarzinom des oberen Harntraktes

Definition:
Upper Tract Urothelial Carcinomas (UTUC) sind Malignome, die vom Übergangsepithel (Urothel) der Harnwege und des Nierenbeckens ausgehen. Der größte Risikofaktor ist Rauchen.
Häufigkeit:
Geschätzte Inzidenz in industrialisierten Staaten: 2/100.000 pro Jahr. 
Symptome:
Mikro- oder Makrohämaturie in 80 % der Fälle, Flankenschmerzen in 20 % der Fälle.
Befunde:
Mikrohämaturie häufig als Zufallsbefund, klinischer Status in frühen Stadien meist unauffällig.
Diagnostik:
CT-Urografie (Goldstandard) ergänzt durch Urinzytologie und Zystoskopie.
Therapie:
Multimodales Therapiekonzept, eine Heilung kann nur durch eine operative Entfernung des Tumors erreicht werden. Ergänzend dazu zytostatische und Immuntherapie.
