Meniskusverletzung im Kniegelenk

Definition:
Traumatischer Riss des Innen- oder Außenmeniskus oder degenerativer Verschleiß bei Gonarthrose.
Häufigkeit:
Insgesamt sehr hohe Prävalenz in der Bevölkerung, in vielen Fällen jedoch ohne Symptome. Gehäuft bei Kontaktsportarten.
Symptome:
Schmerzen entlang des Gelenkspalts, Schwellung und evtl. Gelenkblockade.
Untersuchung:
Schmerzempfindlicher Gelenkspalt, Schwellung, Erguss, Schmerzen oder Knacken bei Rotation, evtl. verminderter Bewegungsumfang.
Diagnostik:
Durch Anamnese und klinische Untersuchung ist in > 80 % der Fälle die korrekte Diagnose möglich. Die Bestätigung erfolgt mittels MRT.
Therapie:
Bei Blockierungen und traumatischer Meniskusverletzung sollte eine chirurgische Therapie erfolgen. In allen anderen Fällen kann zuerst ein konservativer Therapieversuch unternommen werden.
