Vertebrale Kompressionsfrakturen bei älteren Menschen

Definition:
Einsinken, Kollaps und Kompression eines Wirbelkörpers.
Häufigkeit:
Sehr häufige Erkrankung. Die Prävalenzrate steigt mit dem Alter und beträgt bei Frauen im Alter von 80 Jahren ca. 40 %.
Symptome:
Akute Rückenschmerzen bei älteren Menschen.
Klinische Untersuchung:
Am häufigsten Druckschmerz im Bereich der Spontanfraktur.
Diagnostik:
Röntgen, CT oder MRT sind, falls notwendig, die wichtigsten Untersuchungsmethoden.
Therapie:
Evtl. Bettruhe für einige Tage, medikamentöse Therapie mit Analgetika.
