Kostochondritis

Definition:
Brustschmerzen durch selbstlimitierende Entzündung der Rippenknorpel im Bereich der Sternokostalgelenke.
Häufigkeit:
Grund für 10–30 % aller Thoraxschmerzen in der Notaufnahme.
Symptome:
Palpationsbedingter und atemabhängiger Brustschmerz.
Befunde:
Druckschmerz über Rippenknorpeln lateral vom Sternum, ohne Schwellung oder Rötung.
Diagnostik:
Ausschluss abwendbar gefährlicher Erkrankungen.
Therapie:
 Symptomlinderung durch NSAR.
