Bakterielle Arthritis

Definition:
Bakterielle Infektion eines Gelenks, notfallmäßige Behandlung erforderlich.
Häufigkeit:
4–29 Fälle pro 100.000 Personenjahren.
Symptome:
Lokale Entzündungszeichen, meist liegen eine frühere Gelenkverletzung, eine Endoprothese oder ein anderer ärztlicher Eingriff zugrunde.
Befunde:
Warmes, geschwollenes Gelenk, oft sind große Gelenke betroffen, Vergrößerung der regionären Lymphknoten.
Diagnostik:
Entzündungsparameter im Blut erhöht, Gelenkpunktion, Röntgen.
Therapie:
Chirurgische Sanierung, Antibiotika und Immobilisation als Akutbehandlung. Danach frühzeitige Mobilisierung, um die Gelenkfunktion zu erhalten.
