Definition:
Schreiphasen bei Säuglingen in den ersten 3 Lebensmonaten an mehreren Tagen pro Woche über mehrere Wochen bei ansonsten gesunden Kindern mit normaler Gewichtszunahme.
Häufigkeit:
Häufig, betrifft 5–20 % aller Kinder.
Symptome:
Typisch sind langanhaltende Schreiphasen, oft zur gleichen Zeit jeden Tag, wiederholt an vielen oder allen Tagen der Woche, mehrere Wochen hindurch.
Befunde:
Bei einer Untersuchung sind keine Krankheitszeichen feststellbar, und die Wachstumskurve entwickelt sich normal.
Diagnostik:
Keine weitere Diagnostik erforderlich.
Therapie:
Beruhigung und Unterstützung der Eltern, selbstlimitierend nach meist 3 Monaten. Kaum Evidenzen für verschiedene Therapieansätze.
