Definition:
Reizung des N. ischiadicus durch den M. piriformis.
Häufigkeit:
Verantwortlich für bis zu 6 % aller Ischias-Beschwerden.
Symptome:
Typischerweise gluteale Schmerzen mit Schmerzaggravation beim Sitzen.
Befunde:
Ausschlussdiagnose. Häufig schmerzhafte Verhärtungen im M. piriformis palpabel.
Diagnostik:
Bildgebende Diagnostik ist nur zur Ausschlussdiagnostik sinnvoll.
Therapie:
Multimodale konservative Therapie mit Injektion von Lokalanästhetikum.
