Definition:
Akute oder chronische Entzündung der Sehnen oder Sehnenansätze in der Schulter.
Häufigkeit:
Eine häufig vorkommende Erkrankung.
Symptome:
In der Regel Schmerzen lateral im Oberarm, die bei Belastung des Arms und Überkopfarbeiten zunehmen.
Befunde:
Bei der klinischen Untersuchung treten Schmerzen auf, wenn der betroffene Muskel bzw. die Sehne maximal angespannt werden.
Diagnostik:
Andere Untersuchungen sind meist nicht erforderlich. Zur Abgrenzung von Differenzialdiagnosen können Röntgen, Ultraschall oder MRT nützlich sein.
Therapie:
Konservative Therapiemaßnahmen, wie NSAR, Physiotherapie oder Kortison-Infiltrationen, führen zu guten Ergebnissen.
