Definition:
Schmerzhafte Schultersteife unbekannter Ursache.
Häufigkeit:
Lebenszeitprävalenz 2–5 %, stark gehäuft bei Diabetikern.
Symptome:
Durchlaufen von 3 Stadien (Einfrieren, Gefrorensein, Auftauen) über 1–3 Jahre.
Befunde:
Bewegungseinschränkung, insbesondere der Außenrotation („Kapselmuster“).
Diagnostik:
Weitere Untersuchungen sind in der Regel nicht erforderlich.
Therapie:
Selbstlimitierende Erkrankung. Analgesie und Physiotherapie als Therapie der Wahl.
